Volacano Eruption in Guatemala!!!! Loud explosions of lava and gas shook our campsite all night as the wild mountain dogs kept us company for the show... it was CRAZY!!! Finally hiked up Acatenango to watch the Fuego volcano erupting above the city of Antigua!!!!! 😁😁😁 Every muscle in my legs hurts and my lungs are sore from hiking up to 3,700 meters (12,100 feet) but damnnn... seeing a volcano erupting was CRAZY!!!! (And scary!!!!) Feeling blessed to have witnessed the fury of mother nature while making it out uninjured. Truly a sight to behold!!!

Conquered the trek to the base camp and summit of Acatenango! Not gonna lie…the hike was BRUTAL. It’s really hard, really cold, really breathless…but totally worth it.
